THE JAM: A BICZ Mag
THE JAM is a BICZ monthly magazine set to release its first issue in August 2026. BICZ is looking to publish all kinds of formats from local Brampton (and GTA+) creatives. Priority will be given to Brampton locals, but if you're looking to get your work printed, consider submitting to THE JAM!
WHAT IS The JAM LOOKING FOR?
THE JAM is accepting submissions for:
Short comics (1-3 pages, half-page, or column)
Comics and illustrations by kids! (1 page, half-page, or column)
Comic/illustrated recipes (half-page or column)
Illustrations
Political cartoons (about the City of Brampton/GTA+ preferred)
Opinion pieces
And more! If you have an idea, feel free to pitch it!
You can submit works that are already published/produced by you. We ask that any already published works have permission from your clients or publishers to be printed in THE JAM.
Submit to the Zine Machine
Format: To submit your zine or minicomic, your submissions should be no larger than 4”x2.5”. Submissions should be in PDF with cut lines for easy printing, cutting, and folding.
With your email submission, please include:
A short description of your zine
A brief bio
A headshot or avatar for social media promo
Your social media links
Payment: Unpaid. All money made from the machine will go directly to BICZ’s programming and costs such as printing, renting out future venues.
