BICZ had the pleasure of facilitating a zine drop-in table at The Rose’s 20th Anniversary Celebration on September 19th, 2026 as part of The City of Brampton’s Ontario Culture Days Celebrations.
We prepared a zine template in the shape of The Rose Theatre for attendees to complete. They were also invited to create a zine of their own and were provided instructions and guidance if they had no experience folding a zine before. Participants ranged from toddlers to seniors, with a max drop-in attendance of 30 throughout the 2-hour session!
The Rose also hosted an Artist Market throughout the day, which BICZ made an appearance in! Our table was right beside the man himself, Michael Cera.

Our table partners were Gabe Coroza and Ben Solski from Stalefish Gallery! Stalefish Gallery is an independent curation platform based in Brampton and features everything Brampton diy! Stalefish Gallery is also our main collaborator for Cat Scratch Art Market 2026!
Thank you to Sam and Ryan for giving BICZ the opportunity to introduce zines to The Rose Theatre’s audience and to Meegan for offering us a spot at the art market!
