Zine Machine and Zine Launch Party!

On March 25th, 2026 we celebrated the launch of our collaborative zine, “A Look Inside Brampton”, and our brand new first-of-its-kind-in-Brampton Zine Machine at the BAO office on 8 Nelson St. W.! From 5pm to 8pm we took over most of the BAO studio rental space with a live musical performance by April Salisbury-White aka Electric Armchair and a spot to create your own zines and buttons! Thank you Bianca for the cute poster design!

With just a toonie you can get a surprise zine from over 10 Brampton artists. All zines come with a surprise sticker as well, just return the cardboard sleeve once you get your prize :) The beautiful checker design was painted by Brampton artist Marcus.

You can also submit your own zine to add to the machine. We will also be opening up calls for a new sleeve design in the future, so keep an eye out on our Submissions page.

Though BAO has graciously hosted the machine, we would love to be able share the experience with others! The machine is mobile so if you’re interested in installing it temporarily in your space email biczbrampton@gmail.com.‍ ‍
