Collaborative Alphabet Zine Jam on Sunday February 1st, 2026

On Sunday February 1st, 2026, Joy San and Bianca Delmar hosted the first of two free all-ages drop-in events with the support of BAO’s Community Connects Program. This event invited attendees to create an alphabet-themed collaborative zine about Brampton. Participants were each assigned a letter and given a zine template to fill out.

There were live comic and zine readings from local artists throughout the day, including from the organizers, Joy and Bianca, as well as Ricky Lima and Malachi Watson-Narcisse. Light snacks and refreshments available.

The final pages were collected at the end of the event to be edited, formatted, and put together into a 36-page zine! The printed pages were put together at the Zine Making Party held on Sunday March 1st, 2026.
